Position: Independent Contracted Registered Dietitian (Part-Time, with Potential for Full-Time)

Location: Denver, Colorado (In-person at our Capitol Hill office 1-2x/week and Virtual Telehealth)

Position Overview

We’re looking for an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Registered Dietitian with expertise in functional nutrition to join our team on an independent contractor basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about using advanced nutrition interventions, interpreting blood and functional lab results, and providing realistic, supportive counseling to guide clients in achieving their goals.
This role offers the flexibility to start part-time, with opportunities to grow into a full-time role as client demand builds.

Key Responsibilities

Client Counseling: Provide personalized, evidence-based nutrition counseling to clients, both virtually and in person, at our office in Denver, CO.
Functional Lab Analysis: Review and interpret blood work and functional lab tests to develop informed, targeted nutrition plans that focus on root causes.
Interventions & Supplement Guidance: Utilize functional nutrition principles to implement realistic dietary changes and supplement protocols.
Collaboration and Case Studies: Participate in bi-monthly team meetings with our small group of dietitians and nutritionists for case studies, knowledge-sharing, and support.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely client records, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years in functional nutrition and counseling. Previous experience in outpatient or private practice counseling is required.
Education: Registered Dietitian credential
Functional Nutrition Skills: Strong understanding of functional nutrition principles, including experience with supplements, blood work analysis, and functional lab interpretation.
Interpersonal Skills: Proficient in counseling and able to build rapport with clients. Ability to provide realistic, compassionate care that encourages sustainable change.
Technology Skills: Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
Location: Preference for candidates near Denver, CO, who can conduct in-person sessions at least once a week.
